Undisputed II after 1 Years after his confrontation with Monroe “Undisputed” Hutchen in prison, former boxing champion George “Iceman” Chambers travels to the Russian Federation for a series of boxing matches, only to be wrongfully accused of cocaine possession and imprisoned again. Inside, he uncovers a network of illegal mixed martial arts fights run by inmate Yuri Boyka, with prison officials profiting from the brutal matches through side-bets.
Chambers shares a cell with Steven Parker, a British addict, and is approached by mob boss Gaga and Warden Markov, who promise him an expedited appeal and early release if he agrees to fight Boyka. Initially resistant, Chambers changes his mind after enduring humiliating labor in the prison’s sewer and witnessing the guards’ cruelty, aided by a wheelchair-bound inmate named Crot. As both fighters prepare for their bout, Chambers leans on his boxing skills while Boyka trains in a variety of brutal techniques, but before the fight, Boyka’s gang coerces Steven into spiking Chambers’ water with a sedative.
During the match, Chambers is initially caught off guard by the speed and variety of Boyka’s attacks, yet he manages to maintain his composure and keep his distance, delivering effective punches throughout the first round. However, after taking a few sips of spiked water at the end of the round, he loses consciousness in the second round, succumbing to Boyka’s flying kick. Overcome with guilt after the fight, Steven takes his own life.
Later, Chambers confronts Boyka about the incident involving the sedative, and upon discovering that his gang had spiked Chambers’ drink without his knowledge, Boyka agrees to a rematch, which Chambers insists upon for his release. Chambers then trains in mixed martial arts with Crot, a former soldier who had previously trained Boyka.
As the rematch commences, it becomes clear to the audience that both fighters are evenly matched, with Chambers showcasing a more refined fighting style. The bout is characterized by intense exchanges of combinations, grappling, and throws. Realizing that Boyka is unlikely to be knocked out or submit, Chambers adapts his approach and successfully applies a joint lock, ultimately breaking Boyka’s leg and claiming the title of undisputed champion of the prison.
Following his victory, Chambers is released and uses his prize money to secure Crot’s freedom as well. In a poignant conclusion, he accompanies Crot to a train station for a heartfelt reunion with his estranged niece. Crot expresses his gratitude for the financial support, while Chambers thanks him for the invaluable training, culminating in a touching embrace between Crot and his long-lost niece.
